Tong Sheng Xiang Restaurant


   Founded in 1920, the Tong Sheng Xiang Restaurant, a time-honored traditional Chinese restaurant, is a large Halal restaurant under Xi’an Food&Beverage Company of Xi’an Tourism Group. It is well-known at home and in the world for its unique pita bread soaked in beef/lamb soup and the only food company in the five provinces and autonomous regions in Northwest China included in the Nationally Protected Intangible Cultural Heritage List. During its development, it has won a variety of honors and titles, including the Time-Honored Brand of China, Famous Restaurant of China, NationalSupreme Restaurant, China 5A Green Restaurant, and Famous Provincial and Municipal Brand. Having won hundreds of national, provincial and municipal awards, its key product, the pita bread soaked in beef/lamb soup, has also won the top prize, “Golden Tripod Award”, for famous local food and snacks across the nation, “National Famous Brand for Local Halal Food”, and “Famous Snack of China”.
