Zhaoling Mausoleum

Being the mausoleum of Li Shimin, the second emperor of Tang Dynasty, it is claimed to be the most imposing imperial mausoleum with the largest tomb area and greatest number of satellite tombs. The museum houses more than 4,500 pieces of cultural relics, among which the “Six Zhaoling Horses” relief enjoys world fame. The large quantity of relics and artifacts are valuable resources for the study of Tang dynasty politics, economy, and culture.
