Qujiang New District

Qujiang New District, a newly-built area featured mainly by the culture of the thriving Tang Dynasty, covers a planned area of 15.88km2.With cultural and tourism as the mainstay industry, the district integrates the function of recreation, entertainment and commerce. It is best known for the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Qujiang Garden remains, the prestigious imperial garden in the ancient China. On August 11, 2007, Qujiang New District was awarded the first State-level cultural industries demonstration zone by the Ministry of Culture. In the whole year of 2007,Qujiang completed a fixed assets investment of RMB8.280 billion Yuan, actual foreign investment of US$84.34 million, and local financial revenue up to RMB158 million Yuan.
